GIVING VEGETABLES WITH COMPASSION – FIGHTING COVID WITH DETERMINATION
When Ho Chi Minh City is applying social distancing measures under the Prime Minister's Directive 16, Phuc Khang Corporation launched a campaign “GIVING VEGETABLES WITH COMPASSION – FIGHTING COVID WITH DETERMINATION” to dedicate 10 tons of green – clean – safe vegetables to residents in Diamond Lotus Riverside and all staff in the company, serving an example of sharing and cooperating in the fight against the pandemic.

Ho Chi Minh City is applying social distancing measures under the Prime Minister's Directive 16 for 15 days starting 0 A.M. on July 9th. In accordance with the directive, people must strictly follow strict social distancing rules. They are asked to stay at home and only go outside for essential trips such as buying food and medicines, or emergency care. The city authorities have requested the suspension of traditional markets, food stores, public transport, technology ride-hailing services and traditional motorbike taxis.
“Saigon distancing but not disconnecting”, although the city is experiencing difficulties, a trouble shared is a trouble halved. During recent days, it is easy for our attention to be drawn by groups of confident, courageous, ardent young volunteers who support people in hardship, in restricted or quarantined areas. Besides, zero supermarkets, rice ATM, packages from other provinces handed to city dwellers present humanities, compassion and the spirit of solidarity of our compatriots.

One of the most serious problems in social distancing of Directive 16 is to buy food, especially green clean and safe vegetables. Empathizing with people’s anxiety, Phuc Khang Corporation launched the campaign “GIVING VEGETABLES WITH COMPASSION – FIGHTING COVID WITH DETERMINATION”
Phuc Khang Corporation in cooperation with the Building Management Team launched the campaign to deliver complimentary clean vegetables to residents in Diamond Lotus Riverside and all staff. More than ten tons of green – clean – safe vegetables was transported from farms in Da Lat city, carefully preserved and then delivered to distinguished residents in Diamond Lotus Riverside and all staff. Many kinds of vegetables rich in nutrients such as broccoli, carrots, pumpkins, potatoes, cabbages, green onions and cilantro are carefully arranged in each present.
In the process of running this campaign, the organizing committee strictly obey the regulations on preventing the pandemic, ensure the health safety for all members in social distancing period.
